Hearts thrown around a rectangular border, like someone scattered them from a fistful and they landed where they landed. The individual hearts arent the same size and theyre not evenly spaced, some cluster a bit on the corners and sides and the gaps between them vary. The center is open, plenty of room for a name, a date or a word or two. Single colour, which honestly makes the stitching quicker and the end result cleaner than youd expect from something that looks this casual.

Stitch count is 8,305 at the 3.5 inch copy and 18,457 at the full 7.5 inch width. Its 1 colour only so thread changes are zero after you load up. Density is 346, firm enough to give the hearts a solid fill but not so heavy that it stiffens a light fabric. Anchor a medium cutaway on cotton or linen, and if youre stitching on something with a texture topping will help the smaller heart details stay crisp on the surface.

This one sells mostly for personalised items where the customer wants to add text inside the frame separately, like a name stitch inside the border. A customer wrote me last christmas actually using it as a photo frame on a linen piece, she stitched it on a flat piece of linen and then mounted a small printed photo inside the heart border. Pop it on white, cream or natural linen for the cleanest result. The single red colour on white is the classic look.

Try the 5 inch size for a pocket or small bag front. Use the 7 inch size on a pillow where the frame is big enough to stitch a name or short phrase inside. Keep your cutaway or tearaway flat so the frame border lays even on the fabric.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
