Sea, Salt and Sun written in a loose cursive across a clothesline, and a little bikini hanging from the middle of it. Thats the design. Single colour, a soft teal-blue that reads calm and beachy without being too loud. The script letters are hand-lettered style, the strokes vary abit in weight and the S curves have that wide casual sweep to them. The commas between the words are actually stitched too, small and proper.
One thread colour, zero colour changes, 9 sizes. Smallest is 1.61" wide at 3,945 stitches. Largest is 4.51" wide at 7,912 stitches. Low density open fill so it doesnt stiffen up light fabrics, which is honestly the right call for beach towels and cotton tees. my software digitised. Because its single colour you can swap your thread for any tonal shade you like. Dusty blue, coral, white on navy, all work. Stitch it on a thick terry towel at the 4-inch size and use a tearaway stabiliser underneath so the backing pulls clean. Center it on a tote front panel, hoop snugly or youll get lettershift on the script. Skip the cutaway on lightweight fabrics, tearaway is genuinely all you need here.
Beach towels, summer totes, swimsuit cover-ups. The obvious ones. People ask about this every summer for linen gift wrap and birthday pouches and last july I heard from someone who stitched six of these onto little drawstring bags as wedding favours and it looked genuinely lovely. One colour also means it runs fast. Dm me with any sizing questions and I'll work it out with you.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Beach summer t-shirt chest designSurf shack staff tees came back to my coastal-shop customer in six waves last season. Heather grey reads best, no-show mesh keeps the bounce square.
- Cotton tote bag front panelCotton totes for a beach rental welcome bag, run the 6.5 inch in one evening with light tearaway and bobbin matched to fabric.
- Linen tea towel border featureTea towel border reads as a horizontal headline, the stacked words fan the length of a linen hand towel really nicely.
- Beach towel corner accent designAnniversary beach trip towel monograms pair this design with initials underneath. Topping over the terry stops the rays sinking.
- Lightweight cotton pouch frontSmall machine pouch fronts wanting a typography only piece, the 4 inch version slots in clean with cotton thread for soft hand.
- Summer cap back panel featureCap backs are an overlooked spot for typography. Foam buckram underneath, slow speed across the curve.
- Throw pillow front centre designLinen pillow fronts read this design like a coastal poster. Centre it at 7.5 inches with rayon for a soft sheen.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
