Its a big smiling sea turtle, head tilted up a little, flippers spread wide like its mid-glide. The shell carries concentric contour lines inside it, the way you'd sketch a topographic map, and then sitting on top of the shell is this enormous flower crown that honestly takes up as much vertical space as the turtle itself. Daisies, open blooms, leaves and vine curls pile up and spill forward past the turtle's neck.

One small clamshell floats bottom left, a spiral sits bottom right and a bubble circle drifts in between. The whole scene runs in a single black outline thread, no fill, no colour changes, no stops in the middle. What you see is just the line and wherever you stitch it the fabric colour underneath becomes the negative space.

Thats what makes this one so flexible. Stitch it on a pale blue tee and the turtle looks like it lives in ocean water. Try it on natural cream linen and you get that botanical illustration feel. Just last month a customer grabbed the 7-inch for a nursery wall art project, stitched it on white then painted a soft watercolour wash over the fabric, and the thread lines held perfectly as a resist. Thats the only real trick with line art this detailed, the thread needs solid grounding so it doesnt sink into the fabric grain.

Use a firm medium cutaway on all woven fabric and lay a full topping sheet on any knit or terry. The stitch count runs 28k on the 6-inch and 39k on the 8.5-inch, which sounds like alot for one colour but density sits low at 469 per square inch, so it lays flat without puckering when the stabiliser is right. No color changes means the run goes straight through uninterrupted.

Quilting cotton, linen, canvas, denim, terry cloth all work well. Skip any fabric with so much texture it eats the fine outline. Text me if youre unsure whether your fabric weight works and Ill give you a straight answer.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
