Green-skinned witch on a crescent moon, pin-up pose, no apologies. She sits sideways on the thick black crescent, one long leg crossed high over the other, both arms leaning back. Her body is lime green, the hat is a sharp black point, and the dress is a close-fitting dark silhouette that merges at the hem with the moon she sits on. Wavy dark hair falls loose to one side.
Only 4 colours, which is one reason this stitches so fast. Green body fill, black for the hat and dress and moon, a charcoal for the slight shadow tones under the arms and legs, white outline detail on the face and hand. The crescent shape means this sits differently to a square-framed design. It tilts and tapers so placement on a garment needs thought. Stitch it low and to the left on a tee front for the best visual balance. 9 sizes, 3.5 reaching 7.5 inches. Biggest at just over 18k stitches, which isnt a heavy file at all for a 7.5-inch design.
I digitised this one for halloween costume shirts, where people want something that reads adult and confident but doesnt explain itself like a kids design does. She doesnt need context. A customer ordered it on a black denim jacket for last october and sent photos from the night out, it looked brilliant on dark fabric. Honestly one of my cleaner examples of a 4-colour design punching above its weight.
Pick your fabric carefully here: black cotton, dark charcoal, deep navy or forest green all work well. Avoid pale or cream grounds because the lime green skin reads as cream-on-cream and loses everything. Use cutaway stabiliser on any jersey or knit fabric so the long satin fills on those green legs dont pull. Skip placing this on textured fabric like terry or waffle, the thin crescent outline stitches need a flat smooth surface to stay sharp.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
