Two creatures going at it, a mechanical-looking black and grey shark diving down from the upper right, mouth open, and a teal-green tribal dragon coiling up from below to meet it. The gap between them is filled with orange fire shapes that look like they could belong to either one. Its a clash scene and it reads that way even at smaller sizes, the eye goes straight to the tension in the middle.
5 colours in total: Black makes up the shark body, White handles the highlights and teeth, Orange fills the fire, a medium grey-blue does the shadow work, and teal green R10 G138 B133 covers the dragon. 5 colour changes total, so this one takes a bit of attention at the machine. Stitch range is 28,928 at the 3.27-inch smallest size up to 70,553 at the 6.99-inch largest, the high stitch count is all that orange fill and the teal dragon body packed in tight.
Density is 1344, that's the highest in this tribal series and you'll feel it on the bobbin side. Pop a firm cutaway stabiliser on, dont skip it, the dense orange sections especially will pull the fabric if youre only using a light tearaway. Hooped on black canvas the 5-inch version ran really clean, email a note with your machine model if something hiccups.
Use on black or very dark charcoal fabrics. The dragon's teal body reads best against black fabric, on grey it goes a bit flat. The orange fire pops on basically anything dark, which is why this one works well for halloween designs aswell as general fantasy or street wear themes.
I get messages from customers who want something with real visual conflict built in, not just one creature posing on its own. One person used this on a motorcycle club run jacket this past spring and it looked exactly right for that crowd. Email me after purchase if you need a colour swap or a size that isnt in the range.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Full back design on a black street-style hoodieThe 6.99-inch version at 70,553 stitches fills a hoodie back panel with a firm cutaway and no puckering.
- Centre chest on a dark fantasy or horror themed teeDark fantasy tees look best with the 5-inch version centred at chest height on 100% cotton.
- Custom patch for a motorcycle club vestMotorcycle club patches need the 4-inch size on twill with cutaway backing and a merrow border.
- Large panel on a canvas gym bag frontCanvas gym bags hold the 1344-density fill cleanly, the bobbin tension needs checking mid-run.
- halloween themed apparel with orange fire accent colourhalloween orange fire detail makes this a double-use design for seasonal and year-round merch.
- Anime or gaming merch with creature-clash themeGaming merch buyers often want this at 5 to 6 inches printed over a dark sublimated base layer.
- Left chest or right sleeve on a varsity-style jacketVarsity jackets work with the 3.27-inch smallest version on a sleeve or smaller chest badge placement.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
