Heres the single line lady and shes drawn in one continuous black contour. Forehead curls into a nose, the nose dips into lips, lips loop into a chin, the line keeps going up and around to make hair sweep over an eye. No fill, no shading. Just one ink-black thread path that ends back where it started. Bold red sits over the lips like a wash of lipstick.
Total of 4 colours but most of the design is one black contour line. The red lip pop is what makes it modern fashion poster instead of just a sketch. A small cream patch fills the inside of the face shape and a tiny pink dot sits at the cheek for blush. Honestly its the kind of design that looks expensive on a plain bag because it reads as gallery line art, not crafty.
I get messages from customers customising staff aprons for nail salons and brow bars asking for something modern and not too cute. This works for that crowd. Last summer one client ordered the 5x7 size for a hair-studio mirror banner and she sent photos back. The bunch of cream linen behind the black contour and red lips was lookin sharp.
Best results come on plain solid fabric. Stitch on white, oat, blush pink, charcoal grey or pale denim and the contour stays crisp. Skip patterned fabric here, that thin contour gets lost in busy texture. Skip dark navy or black aswell, that ink line just dissapears into the ground and ya lose the whole drawing.
Stitch counts run light because its mostly outline. About 4.2k stitches on the 7-in max panel, 2.6k on the 3.5 small. Lay light tearaway woven cotton or canvas tote, the satin run-stitches dont need heavy backing. Pop a fine 75/11 sharp needle for clean line definition. Nine sizes total. Send a chat note if a colour stop reads lighter than expected.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
