The reindeer is sitting with its legs tucked under and those wide flat antlers spreading way out to the sides, the kind of antler shape that reads more moose than Rudolph. Theres a red and green striped beanie on its head with a proper pompom on top and a matching fringed scarf at the chest. The body fill uses directional crosshatch stitching throughout, which gives the brown fur that real textile texture rather than smooth satin coverage. Nine colors, 8 color changes, and the trim count sits at 85 because the stripe sequence on hat and scarf cycles back and forth through both accent colors. One customer ran a batch of 15 on brushed fleece sweatshirts for a holiday pop-up last november and said it was her fastest-selling design by a long way.

Five sizes that begin around 3.51 inches and tops at 5.51 tall, from 2.91 wide on the small end up to 4.56 wide at the largest. Stitches start at 19,278 and climb to 44,475 at the large end. Digitised in embroidery software. Lay fusible mesh beneath fleece or brushed cotton before hooping to keep the fill sections flat. Use a 65/9 microtex on lightweight cotton, step up to an 80/12 for canvas or denim. Hoop snug and run at 70% speed on the large size to let the texture fill build evenly.

Stitch on a brushed cotton fleece hoodie for the most satisfying result. The sitting pose fills portrait-shaped spaces well, so use it on shirt fronts, stocking fronts, and tall narrow banner panels. Unlike most holiday reindeer that skew young, the chunky knit accessories on this one read well for adults and make it versatile across a wider range of buyers. Hoop the fabric centered and check placement before you start the first color pass.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Adult and kids Christmas sweatshirts and pulloversThe cross-hatch fill looks particularly good on brushed fleece or French terry. Lay fusible mesh first so the texture stitches flat.
  • Holiday canvas tote bag front panelsAt 4.56 x 5.51 the design fills a standard tote front nicely without needing a border frame or background fill.
  • Christmas stocking front embroideryPosition center-upper on a stocking front panel. The sitting pose keeps all the detail above the toe curve.
  • Seasonal door banner and pennant panelsStitch on canvas pennant blanks with the 4.56 wide size. The portrait shape suits narrow vertical banner formats well.
  • Cozy holiday pillow and cushion coversThe chunky seated silhouette centers cleanly on an 18-inch square cushion cover at the large 5.51-inch size.
  • Winter market craft fair items for batch sellingFast setup with 9 pre-wound bobbins for a batch run. Stitch count per item stays under 45K even at the large size.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
