6 kitten faces stitched out in 2 rows of 3, each kitten looking forward with big round black eyes and a tiny pink nose. The whole thing is outline only, no body fill at all, just teal turquoise contour lines tracing the head, ears and front paws. Pink satin sits inside each ear and across each lil nose for the only solid colour blocks.
Around the kittens theres a scatter of black star sparkles and 2 small swirl curls, kinda like the design has a sprinkle of magic dust on it. Cause the body has no fill, the kittens read as line drawings rather than solid stitched cats. The fabric colour peeks out from the open belly area which honestly is half the charm.
I get messages from cat lovers and crazy cat ladies most weeks, my mum asked for this exact design last christmas to put on her cat cafe themed tea towels. People who love their cats but want something soft rather than realistic tend to gravitate to this style.
9 sizes from 2.86 by 3.5 inches up to 6.12 by 7.5 inches, with stitch counts running just 10,922 to 20,430 cause its mostly outlines. Only 3 colours total which is dead easy, density is low at 445 stitches per square inch so it stitches out fast on basic tee weight cotton.
Best on light coloured fabric like white, cream, mint or pale pink, since the design needs the fabric peeking inside the open kitten bodies. Skip dark fabric where the body voids would just look like a black blob. Use a tearaway stabiliser, theres no need for cutaway since the density is mid low. Hoop snug, dont over tension since the outlines can pucker if your fabric tightens unevenly.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
