Two skeleton hands, finger joints and all, curled toward each other to form a heart shape in the middle space between them. Its a simple concept but the execution is what makes it work, the knuckle detail and the slight curve of each finger actually looks like hands rather than blobs. Single colour throughout, which keeps it clean and makes colour choice flexible. Change the thread and youre changing the whole mood of it, thats how much impact a colour swap has here.
Stitch count goes from 4,091 on the smallest, wide version sized 3.5 inch with the biggest reaching 9,155 on the full 7.5 inch. Five sizes total. the file was punched in my standard software with satin column outlines on the finger shapes and a fill underlay so the whole thing stays stable. firm cutaway gripping any stretch fabric because the skeletal finger shapes have tight satin sections that need solid backing to stay crisp. On woven cotton or denim a tearaway stabiliser is fine aswell, though I dont skip the cutaway on knit.
And honestly this one sells alot in february. Not halloween season, which suprised me at first, but people order it for valentines day because the heart shape is right there and the skeleton twist makes it different from every other heart design. Customers have been buying it for couples shirts, matching halloween costumes, goth valentines cards turned into patches, all sorts. Stitch it in red thread on black fabric if youre going for maximum impact. Or white on black for a cleaner goth feel.
Pop it on the left chest of a shirt or centred on the back. Best on black, charcoal, or navy cotton so the single colour thread pops.
