Its a side-profile horse portrait in grey ink-etching style, the kind of thing youd find as a print in an old equestrian magazine or framed in a riding club hallway. Head turns left, chin slightly tucked, with a calm alert eye. The mane flows back and upward in loose individual strands that look genuinely windswept, its separate line stitches not a solid filled block, which is what gives it that old-school engraving character.

Face and neck use tight directional fill stitching that mimics crosshatch shading on the cheekbone and jawline, giving real three-dimensional depth. Lower neck fades to pale grey, almost white at the base, so the whole head has a proper sense of light falling on it from the right. Three colours all within the grey family, thread changes are minimal and the blending between tones carries all the visual weight. Dont load anything bright, the grey-only palette is the whole point.

Biggest size runs 7.5 wide by 3.88 inches, smallest is 3.5 by 1.82. Thats a useful shape for jacket chest panels, shirt pockets, saddle pad sides and cap bills. Stitch count on the largest runs around 31k at 1082 density. Use a light tearaway under stable canvas or woven cotton, cutaway if youre going onto stretch or fleece. Skip dark fabric, the greyscale palette disappears against anything below a mid-tone.

Horse people put this on riding gear, stable wear and personalised gifts. One customer reordered earlier this year and said the small size has become her yard signature, she puts it on every saddle pad she makes for students. Place it on white, cream, pale grey or light khaki for best contrast. Hoop firmly, the fine mane lines need stable backing to stay crisp. Message me if the mane strands look crowded on your machine and Ill fix the bobbin draw.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
