Baby dinosaur curled up asleep on a purple polka dot pillow, basically the cutest bedtime scene Ive customised for kids and toddler nursery sets so far. The lil dinos got a chunky chubby body, single yellow horn on his nose, mustard yellow spikes running down his back, eyes closed peacefully. Around him red yellow and blue stars float in the night sky with a brown crescent moon up to the right.
Done in 11 thread colours total, sage and forest green for the body, mustard yellow for the horn and spikes, purple with white dot fills for the pillow, brown for the moon and ground bed, plus red blue yellow and purple for the scattered stars. All smooth satin fills, no harsh shading, very baby nursery friendly.
5 sizes only, smallest is 2.51 inches wide for bib corners, largest is 5.83 wide for cushion or panel piece. Stitch counts run 8.9k to 22.3k. Best stitched for ages 0 to 3, the soft palette and sleepy poses hits that age group nicely. Pre wash white fabric so the bright reds and purples dont bleed, you wont regret that step honestly.
Last week a customer messaged aswell asking for a customised version with a name banner, thats the kinda request that comes in alot for baby shower gifts. Stitch on cotton, jersey, fleece, flannel and bamboo terry. Skip stretchy synthetics since the dense fills will distort. Use a soft cutaway stabiliser, the satin fills want firm backing. Hoop tightly so the dotted pillow stays smooth, rounds can shift if the fabrics loose. Mum and grandma orders for newborn children gifts run high every spring season.
