Heres a sleeping kitten curled into a tiny ball on top of a fluffy blue cloud. A crescent yellow moon arches behind her, dotted with small craters in faint olive shading, and a scatter of stars and a little planet trail across the upper corner. Her tail loops around her body and ends in a small flick. Eyes closed. Cheeks tinted soft pink. Ears tipped pink too.
Ten colours layer in here. Buttery yellow shapes the moon, sky blue and a deeper aqua build the cloud volume, off-white runs across her fur, soft pink dots her cheeks and ears, and navy plus black ink lines hold everything in shape. Theres a small planet in mustard-olive sitting up by the moon edge with a thin ring around it.
Stitch range is 17k stitches on a chest 3.5 in hoop and 52k on the 7.5 face. Density runs around 972 spi which is on the heavier side. I been getting messages every christmas from grandparents asking exactly this kinda design for new-baby keepsake cushions, its alot of stitches but the result is worth it on heavy fabric.
Stitch on cream linen, oat cotton, soft sage, pale grey or a butter-yellow ground. The buttery yellow moon needs a quiet background, dont sit it on bright yellow cloth or it merges. Skip dark navy and black aswell because the off-white kitten body disappears against deep colour. Skip patterned fabric, the dreamy moon scene needs negative space.
Use a medium-to-heavy cutaway stabiliser. With 52k stitches on the largest size and dense satin columns across the moon, you really need that full underlay. Hoop snug, slow the machine on the kittens face, the closed eyes need crisp short stops or they smudge. Ring me through the chat tool if your hoop cant grip the underlay.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
