Sketched the kawaii ghost cuddled up to a smiling jack-o-lantern, wanting to do something cute rather than scary, and thats seriously what it ended up being. The ghost character is kinda just a big round white blob with rosy pink cheeks and a huge grin, and its digitising in professional digitising software with a full satin fill on the body so the white thread has that slightly shiny finished look.
6 colours total, white for the body, orange for both jack-o-lanterns, yellow for the moon background shape, a soft blue-grey for the ghost's lower half, pink for the cheek blush, and black for the outlines and bare trees. Theres 5 colour changes and 36 trims at the small size, so ya want to keep your bobbin topped up. Density is 730, on the higher side, back with knit-friendly cutaway on stretch and add a topping on any textured fabric to keep the ghost's face details sharp. Stitch count goes from 13,315 at 3.49 inches all the way to 40,961 at the 7.48-inch run, so plan your hoop size before you start.
One customer asked about customising this on a halloween onesie for their toddler last autumn. I said go for the 4-in feature on centre chest, it fitted perfectly with room to spare in a 5x7 hoop. Use white, pale grey, or baby blue fabric for best contrast. Add a topping if youre hooping anything fluffy. Skip tearaway on knits, cutaway only.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
