Two kawaii snails, side by side, alot of warmth in this one. Sixteen colours in the palette, nine sizes going from 3.51 to 7.51 inches wide, and stitch counts from 21,247 up to 49,981 at the largest size. the software I use digitised it with a density of 1,157 per square inch which is on the denser end, so hoop it properly and dont rush the stitch speed on the smaller sizes.

The spiral shells are the most interesting part technically, the ridges use narrow satin columns running radially outward from the shell centre, with the colour changing at each band to pick up the terracotta and cream variation. Body sections are a softer fill with underlay underneath. Use a good cutaway stabiliser aswell, the shell sections build up a fair bit of thread especially at the 5 inch size and above. Tearaway will lift if you try to remove it around those dense satin fills.

Stitch it on cotton twill, canvas, or fleece, works on light and mid-tone backgrounds equally well. Pale yellow, cream, white, and soft sage all let the shell colours come forward nicely. Pop it on matching couple items like his and hers tote bags, or on a cushion for a wedding or anniversary gift. The 3.51 inch version is compact enough for a left chest or a small zip pouch front.

I had a customer last september who stitched these on two matching canvas bags for her parents anniversary, she said it was the best gift she'd given in years and the colours held up perfectly after washing. Great for valentines day gifts, anniversaries, or just because cute cartoon items sell really well year round and dont need a seasonal hook to move.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
