Stitched up the classic 6-arm snowflake at solid aqua fill because I wanted something that actually looked like a snowflake, not some stylised interpretation. 6 arms, clean taper, symmetrical sub-branches, aqua satin thread all the way through. Thats it. The colour reads well on white, navy, or grey fabric and the digitising in industry-grade software included a proper underlay so the satin sits flat instead of sinking into the fabric pile.

5 sizes ranging from 1 inch up to 5 inches wide. The lil 1-inch comes in at 1,707 stitches so ya can hoop it on a tiny ornament blank or a gift tag in under 3 minutes. Big end at 5 inches is 8,698 stitches, still one colour and no stops, aswell. Use tearaway stabiliser on stable wovens, cutaway on knit. Pair it with a topping on terry cloth or fleece or the satin definition blurs. Skip heavy starch on fleece, it makes the hoop ring worse.

Had a customer grab the 5 inch run for table linens last january, she ordered twelve matching flannel stockings for her kids school on the same week. Said she ran them all in one evening. And yeah, single colour, no thread changes, thats why its that quick. Ping me on here if you want the aqua swapped out in the file or if you run into any download issues.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas stocking cuff accentStitch the 2-inch version near the fold of a fleece stocking cuff for a quick batch job
  • Holiday gift tag or luggage label blankRun the 1-inch file on premade felt or kraft gift tags and add a ribbon loop before gifting
  • Fleece blanket corner repeat patternRepeat the 3-inch version in a grid pattern on fleece throw blanket corners
  • Winter beanie or hat band accentThe 1.5-inch size fits on a ribbed beanie band without distorting the knit if you use a stabiliser topping
  • Ornament blank or felt decorationPre-cut felt circles make good ornament blanks for the 2-inch file with just tearaway backing
  • Quilting block centre motifUse as a centre medallion in a patchwork block on a holiday table runner
  • Baby onesie winter-themed accentSingle-colour means no thread-change stops on a onesie hoop job, good for small batches

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
