Mocked up something a bit different with this one. The bow is the main event, not the snowman. Its a big satin ribbon bow, the kind you'd tie on a wrapped gift, with wide looping wings on each side and two tails trailing below. The loops come in alternating light blue and off-white satin fills so they look dimensional, like the ribbon has actually folded. A thick dark navy running stitch outlines the bow and makes every edge pop cleanly. Then right at the centre knot, instead of a plain knot circle, theres a tiny snowman face. Navy top hat with a flat brim. Round white snowball head. Orange carrot nose. Two dot eyes. A row of 5 small button dots running down where the body would be. Its charming and a lil bit unexpected.

6 colour stops total and the fills are clean enough that its not fussy to set up. Density sits at 764 stitches per square inch, medium density, so this wont fight you on most wovens. Smallest is 3.51 by 3.23 inches at about 12k stitches. Largest is 7.51 by 6.91 at just under 40k. That bigger size is where it really shines on a cushion or sweatshirt panel.

Im getting a lot of mileage from this one on winter gift wrapping-themed items and Christmas home decor. A customer stitched it on a set of 4 cream throw cushions for a holiday living room and said her family thought she bought em from a home goods store. Best on white, cream or pale grey backgrounds. Skip dark fabric for this one, the light blue bow reads muddy against navy or black.

Place medium cutaway under on stretch fabrics like sweatshirts. Tearaway works fine on quilting cotton and linen. Float a water-soluble topping over terry or fleece so the snowman face details dont sink into the pile. Run the stitches slow on the first pass of the bow outlines, the thick satin sections like to shift on soft fabric.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
