Drew up this little snowman tucked inside a hot cocoa mug and honestly it became my favourite winter piece this year. Hes wearing a pink ribbed beanie with the cutest fluffy pompom on top, sitting right in the middle of a powder blue mug thats covered in tiny white snowflakes. Cocoa is dripping down the side of the mug, marshmallows floating around him, and a couple of cinnamon sticks rest beside the cup. Realy charming setup.
Stitchwork on this one is detailed. The mug body uses a directional satin fill so the blue catches light like glazed ceramic. Black outlining wraps every shape, which keeps the cartoon storybook look tight even at smaller sizes. The snowmans cheeks have a soft pink blush done in low density and his carrot nose pops in orange against the white face.
I made this with cosy winter apparel in mind, sweatshirts, hot cocoa themed aprons, that sort of thing. Last december a customer ordered the 5.5 inch version for a batch of matching family christmas hoodies and the photos she sent back were the kind of thing you frame.
5 sizes available, smallest is 3.33 inches wide and largest hits 7.12 inches. Stitch counts run from about 30k up to 74k so the big ones are dense, dont rush the speed on those. Colour count is 18 across the design but alot of the changes are small accent passes you can group if you want.
Stitches cleanly on cotton sweatshirt fleece, brushed cotton, canvas totes and waffle kitchen towels. Skip thin tee jersey at the big sizes, the snowflake fill will pucker. Pop a medium cutaway behind anything stretchy and use tearaway on woven cotton. Send me a note if your file dosent load and ill resend within hours. Holler at me if the file gives any trouble and Ill rework it fast.
