Not just a ball, its the goal moment. Two colours, 5 sizes, and a composition taller than it is wide because the net trails downward. The ball sits low and left, the grey cord loops bow out around it and trail to the right, like mesh still in motion. Specific enough to stand out from a plain round ball badge on any kit.

Black satin fill for the football, then one stop and in goes a mid-grey for the net cords. Madeira Classic 40 is the reference in the PDF, any mid-grey polyester will work just as well. The satin density on the ball is higher than the running stitch net lines, so theres a real tactile difference when you run your finger across the stitching. Use a light cutaway stabiliser on cotton drill or canvas. Add water-soluble topping on waffle towels if you want the net cord lines really crisp.

Sizes run from just under 3 inches tall up to around 5 inches tall across five files. Stitch the 4-in placement for a white waffle towel, put the player name underneath, and youve got an award gift specific to football. A customer wrote me this past April asking if they could get both sizes, one for the coach towel and a smaller set for the kit bags. Ordered twice in the same message. Pop the smallest version on velvet drawstring bags for a full matching set.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Soccer coach gifts on towels and kit accessoriesA 4-inch version on a white waffle towel is the coach gift that always lands well at end of season.
  • Team warm-up jackets and player jersey sleevesThe tall narrow shape fits on a sleeve panel without crowding the arm seam.
  • Boys' bedroom wall art hooped and mounted on framesStretch the largest size over a 6-inch hoop and frame it for a quick room decoration.
  • End-of-season trophy bags and award pouchesStitch onto a small velvet drawstring bag for a trophy keepsake pouch.
  • Football camp backpacks and equipment totesThe smaller sizes tile well across a camp backpack panel with player numbers beneath.
  • Sports-theme birthday party banners and buntingRepeat across fabric bunting triangles for a football birthday party garland.
  • Goalkeeper gear bags and keeper equipment pouchesGoalkeeper parents always want something different, and this one fills that gap well.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
