SORRY BOYS sits at the top in chunky charcoal block letters. Below that daddy is written in big flowing red script. Then is my in small black text, then Valentine in large red script again at the bottom. Under the whole stack theres a black arrow pointing right with a little red heart sitting right at the arrowhead. The layout is tall and centred, nice and balanced, and the whole thing reads like a quote poster squeezed onto a shirt.
2 colours, 451 density, 5 sizes from 3.26 inches wide up to 6.98 inches wide. Stitch counts go from 9,867 to 23,564. The script sections are the most detail-heavy so the digitising on those is important. The red and black contrast is sharp and the letterforms dont blur at the smaller sizes. Comes with the Tajima reference which means the satin column work on the script is done properly in directional stitching.
I get a steady stream of orders for this one every january as parents start thinking valentines. People put it on girls shirts, dresses, even fabric hair bands. My customers have used it on matching daddy-daughter shirts too, which is honestly the best use. The arrow and heart at the bottom is what completes the look, it grounds the text block and stops it looking like its just floating there.
Back the hoop with cutaway for stretchy jersey, tearaway on woven cotton. Hoop tight because the tall aspect ratio means more chance of the lower text wandering if theres any give in the fabric. Skip satin or slippery fabrics here, the script needs a bit of texture to grip. Try it on a white or cream jersey for the sharpest result.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Girls Valentine's Day shirts and dressesOn a girls cotton tee, the 5 inch size fits the chest perfectly and the quote reads clearly at distance.
- Matching daddy-daughter outfit setsMatching adult dad shirt plus childs shirt, use 7 inch on dad and 4 inch on the child.
- Kids valentines party outfitsOn a kids party dress front bodice, the 4 inch version sits neatly without crowding the neckline.
- Baby onesies for a first valentine with dadA 3.5 inch version on a baby onesie chest holds the detail well even at that smaller size.
- Personalised gifts for fathers from daughtersStitch on a fabric gift tag or pennant as a keepsake for a first valentines with dad.
- Toddler jersey leggings with design on the waist band areaOn toddler jersey waistband, use the 3.26 inch version with a tearaway behind a cotton topping.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
