Heres the speed boat with the flag and its peak summer-on-the-lake energy. Sleek motorboat angled across the water, navy blue hull with a thick crimson red stripe wrapping the side and a clean white deck up top. Up front the bow rises in a sharp curve, sky blue tinted glass on the windscreen, the cabin trim catches a band of cream highlight. The boat sits on its plume of spray, ya can see directional satin stitches mimicking the wake.

Up off the bow a tall pole flies the american flag mid-flutter. Crimson and white stripes wave in proper crisscross folds, blue canton with little white star fills sits up top corner. The flag bends in the wind so the right edge curls, real motion in the satin column work. Around the boat the water churns, navy blue chop on the surface, teal blue spray fanning out behind, a smaller wave breaking off the front. Honestly the spray detail is what sells this one, its alive.

Around memorial weekend last may a marina shop owner wrote in asking about the design on weatherproof boat covers, and that brief is what kicked off the bigger sizing rollout. She told me the patriotic boat tees outsell every other summer design two-to-one. Last weekend my own dad asked if I could stitch the bigger size on his bait cooler, I did the 5-inch and it came out clean.

Stitch the 7.5-inch wide size on a navy or charcoal cotton tee, the cream deck and red stripe really sing on dark fabric. Place the smaller 4-inch on a beach towel corner or a canvas drink coozie, it works great even at small scale because the boat shape stays distinct. Avoid patterned hawaiian fabric here, the bright striping will fight the print.

Densest area is the navy hull and the teal water spray below the boat. Mesh cutaway stabiliser works best, at peak size you're looking at 57k stitches across the hull fill. Hoop firm, ease back the speed when the satin columns on the flag stripes kick in. Use a 75/11 sharp needle for the white deck and a 80/12 ballpoint if the fabric is jersey. Message me with your machine model and the issue, ill rework it.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
