Put together this venom-style Spider-Man for the people who specifically want the dark version. Its the mask and upper torso done entirely in black, no colour swap, no red at all. Those satin columns on the web mesh are stitched into the black fill so the detail shows through texture and dimension, not colour contrast. Up close on good cotton youll actually see each segment clearly. From a few feet away it reads as a solid black Spidey silhouette.

One colour. Zero stops. Just run it and walk away. Stitch counts go from 6,774 at 3 inches up to 17,551 at the 7 inch top size. 5 sizes between 3 and 7 inches wide, heights range from about 1.75 to just over 4 inches. Density sits at 616 per inch in the web sections which is enough to get clean definition without over-stiffening the fabric, but dont rush the bobbin tension setup on the dense passes.

Single colour makes this kinda flexible for fabric choice. Looks great on white, cream, grey, olive, burgundy or really any fabric where black contrasts well. Skip satin or chiffon. Back woven cotton or denim with a tearaway, use cutaway on any knit or stretch material. The underlay matters here since without it those satin fill sections can sink into loose weave.

I get alot of orders for this one from people doing all-black or monochrome apparel lines. One customer texted me a pic last october of this on charcoal fleece and it looked genuinely sharp. That muted contrast suits the dark-suit theme perfectly.

Text me if the download has any issue, Ill sort it out fast.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Black hoodie mono designThe 5 inch version on a plain black cotton hoodie chest gives a subtle raised-texture look that only shows in certain light, which a lot of customers find really wearable.
  • Venom fan apparel projectOn white cotton the full contrast between the black design and the pale fabric creates a bold clean graphic look perfect for Venom fans.
  • Dark theme comic convention pieceA 4 inch version stitched on a patch blank in black thread on charcoal felt makes a great convention accessory without being too flashy.
  • All-black outfit patch accentThe single colour and clean lines make this a natural choice for anyone building an all-black minimal wardrobe piece.
  • Gothic or alternative fashion embroideryGothic fashion customers often pair this with chain or stud accessories on black denim for an alternative look.
  • Boys monochrome shirt designThe 3 inch size on the breast pocket of a boys black shirt keeps it small and wearable for school days without looking costume-like.
  • Marvel symbiote collection merchCrafters building a Marvel symbiote collection often use this alongside other dark-palette designs for a themed merch series.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
