A round floating ghost wearing a pointed witch hat balanced on its head. Its drawn with that classic cartoon ghost shape, rounded at the bottom with a slight wave, and the hat sits right on top giving it a personality that leans more playful than scary. Single black thread, so its all contrast and outline work. The face is minimal, just dot eyes and a small mouth, which actually makes it read across a range of sizes without losing the expression.
professional digitising tools mapped the stitch path on this one and the density is 291, lighter than a lot of halloween designs, which means it stitches fast and doesnt stress the fabric. At 3 inches wide the smallest file is 6,757 stitches and at 6.5 inches you get 14,241. Those are manageable numbers, most customers can run through a batch of these in an afternoon. Press a soft cutaway behind wovens. If youre stitching on fleece or terry cloth, go up to a firm cutaway because the ghost body fill still needs support even at low density.
There is something about the witch hat on a ghost that my customers consistently like, its a small detail that makes the design feel more thought-out than a plain ghost. A customer who ordered this last fall said she used it across a set of 12 halloween treat bags for her daughters school fundraiser and they sold out first at the stall. The single colour keeps it fast to produce in volume.
Stitch it on black fabric with a white thread if you want the ghost to glow, or stick with black thread on cream for a more graphic look. Skip satin or silk fabric, the low density fill slides around on slippery materials. Try it on a denim pocket at 3 inches for a subtle halloween detail that doesnt shout.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
