Last october I put this together for the plant-obsessed crowd who also happen to love halloween, I get messages every year from this exact group and I never had the right design for em. The spooky plant lady is a witchy figure holding or surrounded by dark botanicals, she's got halloween energy without being full horror, 8 colours, 17,028 stitches.
Density is 305 which is a solid mid-high fill, the plant leaves use directional satin to pick up that natural leaf shape, the figure outline is clean and doesnt bleed at the edges even on looser cotton weaves. Use cutaway stabiliser on this, at 17k stitches and a 3.5 by 2.47 inch footprint tearaway will let the design shift on most fabrics mid-run. Hoop tight, set the bobbin correctly, and run it slow if your machine allows speed control, the figure details come out much sharper at lower speed. The eight colour stops include separate stops covering the pots, the leaf sections, the figure, and a small accent colour for the halloween detailing.
People put this on sweatshirts, tote bags, canvas pouches, This is one of those that suits the kind of person who identifies as a plant lover aswell as a halloween person. For anyone stitching on a dark sweatshirt, send message if you need a tip on bobbin colour choice and Ill send the right recommendation. Lowercase tips: for dark fabric, a dark bobbin thread stops show-through on the face of the design, its one of those things that catches people off guard the first time. Stitch inside-out care label up, wash cool, and the greens hold well past the halloween season for year-round plant lady wear.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
