Ive seen alot of 'Spooky Season' text designs out there and most of them are either basic block type or over-done horror fonts. This one sits in a completely different place, each letter is built from small rounded bead shapes stacked together so the whole phrase has this bubbly, almost dimensional texture after the stitch. Four colours go into 6,780 stitches across a 3.51 x 1.59 inch footprint, which is a medium density 188, firm enough to give the beads their rounded shape without being so dense it flattens on the fabric.

The digitising here uses a tiered stitch sequence in the software I use: base fill first, then the bead separation lines, then the highlight layer on each bubble form, then the accent details last. Pick a bobbin colour close to your top thread in the main letter body or the bobbin thread will show through slightly at the bead edges. Use medium-weight cutaway stabiliser; with four colour stops and that density the fabric needs a stable base throughout the run. Stitch each colour stop all the way through before trimming and moving on, dont rush the colour changes or registration suffers.

One customer wrote me last november saying she'd used this on a full set of halloween tote bags for her market stall and sold out before noon. I believe it. Ive tested it in orange body plus black outline with purple highlights and it looks genuinely stunning on cream or white fabric, very festive without being agressive. Halloween doesnt always have to be dark and threatening, and this design is proof of that.

Wash the finished item inside out on a cool cycle to protect the multi-colour layers and keep the bead definition looking sharp after repeated laundering.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Halloween canvas tote front panelHalloween canvas tote market bag front, one customer sold out before noon at her market stall and came back to order the file again the following week.
  • Seasonal cushion cover centerpieceThrow pillow cover on cream or ivory fabric, the bubbly bead texture in orange and black against a light ground is striking from across a room.
  • Sweatshirt left chest seasonal textSweatshirt left chest for the october crowd who wants something festive but not overtly spooky, the beaded lettering reads as decorative rather than seasonal.
  • Halloween table runner text accentLinen table runner centre panel with repeats at even intervals, pairs with plain autumn table settings without fighting the crockery for attention.
  • Kids school bag seasonal decorationKids school bag seasonal decoration that works for ages 5 through 12 because nothing in the design is frightening.
  • Autumn market bag front labelMakeup bag front panel stitched before assembling, the compact 1.59 inch height fits even narrow cosmetics pouches without crowding.
  • Halloween makeup bag embroideryAutumn market stall display item where the craft-fair aesthetic of the beaded lettering matches the handmade context perfectly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
