So this one has been going since october and Im still getting orders for it now. The design is the words spooky season in 2 lines of thick rounded block letters, all in a solid pumpkin orange satin fill. What makes it stand out is that 2 of those letters arent just solid orange, theres a cute little white ghost sitting inside the O on the top line and another one tucked into the K beside it. Both ghosts have the same rounded blob body shape, small oval eyes punched out in the orange fill, and tiny raised arms like theyre doing a little wave. Four flat black bats are scattered above and below the text at different angles to fill the space around the letters.
Three colours only: pumpkin orange for all the letter fill, white for the ghost bodies, black for the bat silhouettes and the ghost eye details. The density runs at 817 stitches per square inch with a stitch count range of 7,326 at from 3.5 baseline to 19,608 at the biggest. Smallest footprint is 1.49 by 3.5 inches, biggest is 3.2 by 7.5. Digitised in my standard software with a standard cutaway underlay so the orange block letters sit flat and dont pull at the ghost cavities cut into them. Run a medium cutaway stabiliser and use a topping on any fabric with a pile or texture so those ghost bodies dont sink into the weave.
One customer ordered a batch of 8 of these on matching black tee shirts last october for her daughters friend group birthday party that happened to fall on halloween. She sent photos and the whole group matched, every shirt had the design in the exact same chest position. That kind of order is kinda my favourite. Best on black, charcoal, dark navy or deep purple fabric where the pumpkin orange pops. Avoid cream or white base fabric because the white ghosts wont have any contrast and theyll just disappear into the background.
Use the 5-inch motif on standard adult tee chest. Skip the biggest size for shirt work unless youre doing a kids XL or youth size where the bigger letters still look right. Pair it with a black or dark grey heat-transfer vinyl font for a custom name below if youre doing a batch for a group costume crew. Add the design to centre chest on a tee or front panel of a bag for maximum readable impact. Reach out if youre running a batch for a group costume and need to talk through sizing for different shirt cuts.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
