The top word is done in big heavy block capitals and each letter has fine cobweb lines running through the interior fill, which sounds like a small detail but thats what stops the letters from being just a solid black slab. Below that vibes in a wide flowing cursive that takes up the full width of the design, the kind of script with rounded open loops that photographs well. Floating between and around the words theres an orange spider on the left with a satin body and running stitch legs, a small black bat hovering near centre, and a loose purple ghost on the right with that classic sheet-ghost silhouette.

4 colours, 4 changes. The density on vibes is moderate, the fill isnt packed so the script reads as rounded and dimensional rather than rigid. The spooky block letters are denser because they need full coverage to show the web detail properly inside the letterforms. The ghost fill is intentionally lighter with a sketchy edge that gives it a slightly unfinished quality, which is kinda the point.

5 sizes, 3 inch to 7 inch. This works on basically anything people wear in October. A customer who does custom embroidered halloween gear for a bar staff team ordered the 5-inch version for polo shirts and said the orange spider was the thing everyone commented on first. That detail matters and Im glad it reads that well at polo-chest scale.

Hoop medium cutaway on woven fabrics. Use a water-soluble topping on fleece or anything with pile so those delicate web cross-hatch stitches inside the block letters dont sink and disappear. Add tear-away on canvas for a cleaner back. Skip dense stretch knits because the interior web stitching is too delicate to survive a fabric that moves alot.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Halloween tee shirts and polo shirtsThe 5-inch on a black tee is the default move and it works, the orange spider pops against black fabric with zero extra effort
  • October sweatshirts and hoodies for adultsOn a grey or cream sweatshirt the orange and purple give the palette more warmth and it looks seasonal without being too loud
  • Seasonal canvas tote bagsThe 4-inch on a natural canvas tote makes an all-October carry bag that gets compliments at the farmers market
  • Halloween bar and restaurant staff uniformsBar and restaurant staff uniforms ordered in batches run well on polo shirts, the design is readable from across a room
  • Party hostess aprons for Halloween gatheringsWorks on an apron for a Halloween party host, the vertical-ish proportions fit the bib panel without going edge to edge
  • Kids Halloween school event shirtsThe 3-inch on a kids school event shirt is the right size for a chest pocket area or left chest placement
  • Autumn craft fair best-sellers for phrase designsPhrase designs like this are consistent sellers at craft fairs because theres no character licensing and the phrase is recognisable

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
