Spooky set in gothic display lettering with a spider web laid over the whole thing. The web isnt sitting in just one letter, its spreading across the full width with individual silk lines radiating out from a centre point around the middle of the word. A small bat rests on the upper edge, wings folded in, and a tiny spider hangs below the final letter on a short drop thread. The feel is decorative, not loud. Kinda old victorian halloween, not modern shock value.
All black, 1 colour, 0 thread swaps during the run. Satin column fills on the letter bodies give real texture and a slight raised feel on the finished piece. my main software digitised it at a density of 351 so its on the lighter side, stitches go from 3,108 on the 2-inch up to 11,958 on the 7-inch. Six sizes total, widths run from 1.39 inches up to 4.87 inches. Good proportion on the 3-inch for pocket placement and the 4.87 reads well at the centre of a tee chest.
My client who runs an october craft market stall asked for something for muslin trick-or-treat bags and she picked this design specifically. She said she wanted something resembling an old apothecary label rather than a kids party print. Stitch it in black on cream linen, oatmeal cotton or natural canvas and youre in that territory instantly. People who see it at her stall tend to stop and look because it doesnt read like typical halloween merch.
Use tearaway stabiliser on woven fabric, cutaway on knits and anything with stretch in it. Slow your machine on the web spoke sections because the fine line stitching needs proper underlay registration or the spokes lose their crispness. Sew me a message if the web spokes dont register cleanly and Ill pull the file apart to check the underlay settings.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
