This is a sitting kitten, white-bodied with a bunch of irregular black spots scattered all over like a real dalmatian cat if that was a thing. The body is plump and round, front paws tucked neatly underneath, tail curling round behind. Five colours across the whole design, mostly white and grey with black for the spots and outline work, and then two shades of pink for the inner ears and the cheek circles.

The eyes are the main event though. Big round irises, drawn with concentric rings of stitching so they actually have depth and dimension when ya look up close. my standard software digitised em with proper layered satin fills rather than just a flat blob of colour, so the eye area has real texture. Dense sections around the face run up near 49k stitches at the full 7.51-inch size. The 3 smallest sizes come in at 20k to 27k stitches each, much lighter on your machine.

My sister runs a small cat shelter fundraiser and last autumn she had ya order a dozen of the 4.5-in build on white sweatshirts for the volunteers. Everything sold out at their adoption day table in about an hour. Honestly wasnt suprised, this kitten has a face that just works on anything. I get messages from cat cafe owners and pet shop staff asking if its OK for uniform aprons, and yes it totally is.

Stitch on white or cream cotton or fleece for best read. The white body fill needs a pale ground or it disappears completely. Use a good cutaway stabiliser underneath because the high-density fills at 1340 can shift on stretchy fabric if youre not backed up properly. Pair the small 3.51-inch on a pocket or collar tab, use the big 7.51-inch on a canvas tote back or a cushion cover. Drop me a note if anything looks off with the stitch file and Ill check it over same day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Cat lover tote bags and pouchesStitch the 5-inch size on a cream canvas tote for a cat lover gift bag that actually looks good.
  • Pet shop staff apronsPop the 4-inch on a white cotton apron for pet shop or grooming salon staff, pairs great with a name embroidered below.
  • Cat cafe crew uniform shirtsUse the medium size on a black polo shirt for cat cafe crew, the white body reads clean on dark fabric with good stabilising.
  • Kids bedroom cushion coversEmbroider the large 7.51-inch on a white cotton cushion cover for a kids bedroom, sits flat and looks neat after washing.
  • Cat shelter fundraiser sweatshirtsRun off a batch on pale grey sweatshirts for a cat shelter volunteer team or a kitten adoption fundraiser event.
  • Kitten-themed birthday party teesStitch the 3.51-inch on a kids tee pocket for a cat birthday party outfit, three colour changes keeps swapping quick.
  • Cotton zip pouches and cosmetic bagsHoop on a white canvas zip pouch for a handmade cosmetic bag, the face centred on the front panel looks really sweet.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
