This lil guy took me abit of time to get right last spring, specifically the flower cluster around his legs. Eleven colours, which sounds like a bunch, but each one is doing real work here, the gnomes hat is a deep red satin fill, his jacket is a warm coral, the flowers are split between yellow daisy tones and sky blue petals, and theres a soft mossy green for the stem and leaf areas. 3 colours just for the flowers alone.
Stitch count runs from 33,732 at the smallest 4.51 inch width right up to 58,098 at 7.51 inches wide. Density sits at 191 which means the satin areas on the hat and jacket come out really smooth and slightly raised off the fabric surface. For 11 colours you want a medium cutaway stabiliser underneath, I always use cutaway on designs this dense, tearaway just doesnt hold the pull compensation properly when you have nine separate colour changes stacking up. Topping helps on towelling or fleece if you want those satin fills to sit flat.
Seven sizes total, from 4.51x3.78 inches up to 7.51x6.28 inches. The big size is brilliant hooped on a tote bag or a canvas pillow cover. The 5-inch version sits nicely on a tea towel or an apron front, which is where I think it looks best honestly. One customer made a set of spring-themed kitchen linens with this, mixed with a flower-only design, said the colour combination looked like something from a boutique shop. That was a nice message to wake up to.
Pair it with a plain satin border or stitch it solo on a cream linen panel, both work. The digitising was done in industry-grade software so the underlay structure is solid, no puckering even on lighter quilting cotton if you hoop tight. Add a topping layer on any textured surface and the satin hat fill stays raised and smooth.
Ping me if a colour reference doesnt match what you see in the preview and Ill walk you through the thread chart that came with the file.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
