Put together this stacked book christmas tree and its one of those clever ideas that works better than you expect it to. Books are stacked in a triangular christmas tree formation, widest at the bottom getting narrower toward the top, with a small star sitting up there. Each book is a different colour with a visible spine detail so you can tell em apart. The whole thing reads instantly as a christmas tree even though its all books. Clever without being try hard about it.
Six colour threads, each book gets its own colour and then theres the star on top. Comes in 5 sizes from 3.5 inches wide 7.5-in cap, this design is wider than it is tall since books are horizontal when stacked. Heights run 2.5 to 5.4 inches. Stitch count goes from about 4,200 on the small end up to 9,248 on the big one, so its not a heavy file, it runs fast even on the full 7.5 inch version. Use tearaway stabiliser on cotton canvas totes and linen, cutaway on knit fabrics.
Tons of orders here come from buyers shopping for book lovers, which makes total sense. A customer last november sent me message saying she stitched it on a cotton tote for her sister who teaches, and said it was the most excited she had seen her sister about a gift in years. its one of the designs that the right person absolutely loves.
Use the largest size on a canvas tote front for a book lover christmas gift they can actually use. The medium size works on the chest of a plain tee or the front pocket of a sweatshirt. Pick green, cream, or burgundy for the tote fabric so the multicolour books stand out. Skip dark charcoal or black fabric since the spine details can get lost against very dark backgrounds.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
