Pulled together 3 hardback books in a gentle tilted stack, spines facing out, with a pair of open peony blooms and a handful of dark leaves draped over the right side. Its an outline-only design so the petals and book covers stay open and airy, no dense fill stitching inside. That detail is what makes it work on lighter fabrics where heavy tatami fill would just look muddy.

Runs at 5 sizes from 1.43 inches wide up to 3.69 inches, stitch counts going from 3,371 at the smallest up to 8,330 at the largest. Single colour, so youre swapping no threads mid-run. I digitised it with density sitting around 347 which gives the outline a solid satin column without over-compressing the cotton underneath. Hoop with a good cutaway stabiliser, not tearaway, the satin outlines pull a little and tearaway wont hold em flat.

I get messages every week from people putting this on book tote bags, canvas pouches, and reading corner pillows. A customer last month stitched the medium 2.9 inch version on a linen tea towel as a gift for her mum who runs a little home library. Came out realy well she said, the open petals read beautifully on natural linen.

Skip anything with a heavy pile or terry texture. Cotton, linen, canvas and denim are all great for this one. Add a thin clear topping film if youre working on jersey or anything with stretch, the outline points stay crisp that way.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
