Mocked up this stacked pumpkin silhouette last fall after getting alot of requests for something clean and graphic, no faces, no carving, just the pumpkin shapes in pure solid black. Three pumpkins tower in a vertical stack, largest at the bottom and smallest perched on top, each with its own stem. Nothing carved into em, no eyes, no mouth. Just the outlines filled solid, which is exactly what gives it that graphic poster quality on rust or cream fabric.
Single colour, 1 thread, done. I had it digitised in my standard software with density at 504, which keeps the solid fill from looking too heavy and lets the fabric texture show through slightly rather than giving you a flat plastic look. 5 sizes: smallest is 3.51 inches wide by 2.07 inches tall, largest is 7.51 inches wide by 4.42 inches tall. Stitch counts run from 7,618 up to 16,739 stitches. The design is wider than it is tall, so youll want to check your hoop orientation before you start.
Dm me on chat if the silhouette fill isnt coming out crisp on your fabric, sometimes lighter fabrics need a layer of topping to stop the fill sinking into the weave. One customer ran the 7.51-inch on a rust coloured tea towel in october and said the matte black on rust was one of her best seasonal makes.
Place a tearaway under woven cotton or linen since the stitch count is moderate and the design is flat fill. Pair matte black thread with rust, cream, oatmeal or mustard fabric for that autumn harvest feel. Skip white as the base because the silhouette reads better on coloured grounds.
Works well on tea towels, tote bags, fall season tees, pillow covers and any autumn kitchen or home textiles where you want the pumpkin shape without the full carved face look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
