Reached back to something classic with this one, its a rearing horse silhouette, the kind of pose where the front legs are up and the mane is flying back. Solid black fill, no outlines or internal detail lines, just a clean profile shape. Around and below the horse theres a scatter of five-pointed stars in different sizes, some larger on the upper left cluster, smaller ones dotted near the legs. The ground line underneath gives it a kinda logo stamp feel.

Single black thread, 1 colour, no colour changes at all. Stitch counts go from 7,315 at the 3-inch size up to 17,504 at the largest 6-inch version. The silhouette fill uses a directional tatami approach so the surface isnt just flat satin, theres a lil texture to the horse body that reads nicely up close. 4 sizes total. I usually recommend hooping a medium-weight cutaway for this one and using a tear-away on top as topping if youre going onto a textured polo or fleece, the star points are small and need clean bobbin tension.

Reach out if youre unsure which size to grab for a specific project, Im happy to help. One customer last spring stitched the 6-in feature on a horse blanket and said the stars were exactly what made it different from every other horse design she owned. Add it to saddle bags, horse show towels, stable gear, or country-themed apparel. The minimalist silhouette style means it reads from further away than a detailed design would.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Horse show bags and tote bags for equestriansThe compact 3-inch version fits cleanly on a tote bag handle tab or exterior pocket.
  • Saddle pads or barn towels with a monogram feelBarn towels with a corner horse stitch are popular at equestrian shows and sales tables.
  • Country and western themed tee shirtsThe star scatter gives this more personality than a plain silhouette for western tee designs.
  • Children's bedroom decor with a horse themeKids love horse room decor, the 4-inch version works on pillow corners or curtain panels.
  • Personalised stable blanket cornersStitch the 3-inch version in a corner of a stable blanket for a custom look.
  • Equestrian club gear and team apparelClub gear looks polished with a consistent single-colour silhouette on all pieces.
  • Cowboy hat patches or boot bag embroideryHat patches are small so use the 3-inch version and a heavy cutaway for structure.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
