The words STAY in pumpkin orange sit on top of GROOVY in black, all in fat round 70s bubble caps. Out of the bottom of the Y in groovy a hands sticking up making the peace sign in matching orange. Real psychedelic-poster energy. The letters have them swirled enclosed counters, the round O with the dot inside, the curl on the S. Two-colour design, totally clean execution.

And the constructions dead simple. 2 colours, 1 colour change per size, between 11 and 13 trims. Stitch counts run 6,443 on the smallest 2.52-inch square up to 22,176 on the largest 7.55-inch. Density at 391 is light for a bubble fill, so the orange and blacks laying flat on cotton without forcing a heavy underlay, thats the kind of setting that makes a difference. I digitised it in my main digitising tool with a step-fill plus directional underlay running diagonal under each letter to keep the bubble curves smooth. Theres no satin columns to worry about on this one, just fill blocks.

A customer of mine ordered the 4-inch version last summer for a small batch of retro tees, she ran 30 of em on cream cotton crewnecks for a music-fest weekend in austin and sold every single one before the saturday afternoon set. Said its like the 70s posters her dad had in the garage growing up. Real real authentic vibes is what she wrote me.

Hoop on no-show poly mesh for tees, medium tearaway for canvas or twill. Pop the 3.51-inch on a left-chest position for a casual everyday tee. Stitch the 5.54-inch dead-centre across the back of a denim trucker jacket for a louder statement. Run the 7.55-inch as a full front print on a heather-grey crew. Best on cream, oatmeal, mustard, sage, dusty pink, or warm denim. Skip pure white if you want the warm 70s feeling, that orange thread really sings against off-white more than stark white.

Send a note if youre needing the colour stop file in a non-Tajima format, im customising the colour-chart match for whoever asks.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
