Heres the stay positive work hard make it happen quote and its three lines of mixed lettering stacked tight on 5 inches of cream cotton. Top line flows in cursive script, the words stay positive looping with long swooping descenders. Middle line slams down in tall fat sans-serif caps, WORK HARD, with each letter built from two parallel strokes that leave a hairline gap down the middle. Bottom line drops back into thin cursive, make it happen, ending in a tiny heart curl off the last n.
Whole thing runs in a single colour, just plain black thread on a white or cream base. The contrast between the loopy top line, the chunky block middle and the delicate cursive bottom is what gives the quote character. The two-stroke construction on the work-hard lettering is the part that really sells it, looks like someone hand-lettered it with a brush pen and traced over each stroke twice.
I get messages from gym owners and small studio clients almost every monday asking for motivational quotes that arent cheesy. Last january a customer ordered 3 of these stitched on workout duffels for her clients new years kickoff and they sold out the same week. Im a big fan of how the quote reads at any size from three inches up to seven.
Stitch on white, cream, oat or pale grey fabric to keep the black thread reading sharp. Sand-colour canvas and natural linen work beautifully aswell. Skip dark fabric, the whole point is the black ink contrast and you lose every detail on charcoal or navy. Avoid heavy fleece, the thin bottom cursive gets swallowed.
Hoop firm and run the cursive lines slow, the long swoops on stay positive want a steady pull. Use a tearaway stabiliser since the design runs light at 12k stitches even on the biggest size. Skip topping film unless the fabric feels rough. Text me on chat when the file gives trouble, ill swap a fresh cut over to your inbox.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
