Top-down view of a tabby cat mid-stretch, 2 colors, 9 sizes from 3.5 to 7.49 inches wide. The angle is directly overhead, front paws reaching up, rear legs sprawled wide, the face peeping out below the belly looking straight up with whiskers and nose visible. It's that classic yoga pose every cat owner knows. The stripes work in proper patterns across the body, denser at the spine, lighter toward the belly and legs. Grey handles the base fur tones and lighter areas, black covers the dark stripe lines, outline, and all the fine facial details.
She sent me a photo last spring of her own cat doing the exact same pose and asked if this matched, it really does, which I think is why it sells so well to cat people specifically. Stitch count goes from 14,167 at from the 3-in baseline up to 30,072 at the full 7.49 inch width. Density is 797, moderate, solid enough to hold the fur texture cleanly without going stiff. One color change keeps the whole run simple. There are 110 trims at the mid sizes, which is a fair bit of jump cutting, but nothing unusual for a detailed animal piece with this much linework.
Pop a medium-weight cutaway under this one, its the black outline work that makes the stripe patterning actually read, and if the stabiliser shifts during the run those fine lines lose registration. Use a topping layer on jersey or fleece so the stitches dont sink into the pile. Skip dark fabrics unless youre going for a low-contrast look on purpose. Reach out if anything in the registration looks off when it comes out and Ill rework it fast for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
