Strong, Confident, Resilient, and ten more inspiring words, all stitched inside a single black silhouette. Its a womans profile facing left, big natural afro taking up the top half, shoulders below, right arm extended forward with the elbow bent and the hand raised. Sitting on the tip of her raised finger is a small butterfly silhouette just off the edge of the main shape. The whole composition reads as one piece, inspirational quote typography merged with portraiture.
Thirteen affirmation words fill the silhouette at different sizes and angles. Strong sits near the crown in the largest script. Talented, Confident and Loved run through the lower hair and neck area. Loyal, Magical, Resilient, Blessed occupy the torso section. Focused and Inspiring sit smaller, slightly rotated to fill the gaps near the cheek. Classy and Proud wrap along the arm toward the butterfly. Its a mix of cursive script and bold block lettering so it doesnt look like a flat list. White stitching on black silhouette fill is what makes everything legible. Two colour stops total, thats it.
I get orders for this one around Black History Month every February and again for end-of-year teacher gifts, both contexts work really well. Density is 965 stitches per square inch, so stitch counts run from twenty-six thousand on the smallest up to fifty-three thousand on the biggest. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser. Hoop very taut. Slow your machine speed down through the text sections so every letterform comes out crisp. Four sizes from 4.47 by 4.51 inches up to 7.43 by 7.51 inches. Questions about thread run or needle size, just send me a note.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
