This stronger than the storm quote is one I drew up lil after a rough week last december, ya kinda just needed the reminder myself. Four line vertical stack with a small lightning bolt accent beside storm at the bottom, charcoal grey for the main script and one mustard accent. Simple, suprised how many customers wrote me to say they ordered it after recieved a hard diagnosis or going through a tough season. So 9 sizes total across the run, all narrow because the script stacks vertical.

Sizes run from 1.12 inches wide from the small size up through 2.89 inches at the wide build, with the height climbing from 2.51 inches up to 6.51 inches because the four lines stack tall. Stitch counts go from three thousand seven hundred five on the smallest up to nine thousand three hundred sixty seven on the biggest 2.89 inch version. Density sits at 498 spi at mid density, but Id still float a fusible cutaway under jersey or knit. Im glad I held onto this design. Thats what makes the design work for me. Goes quick if the hoop sits firm. Honestly its grown on me a lot.

The script runs as a fine satin with directional underlay for the longer flourishes on stronger and storm, so use an embroidery 75 point to keep the lettering crisp. Float a fusible cutaway underneath any knit, and tear-away works fine for woven cotton. Pop wash topping atop textured weaves so the script edges dont sink into the fabric. Stitch this on soft cream linen, sage cotton, or muted blush cotton for the gentle confident feel. Avoid heavy denim, the narrow script width design the makes look small on a wide bag panel and the proportions feel off.

had a customer set this up last week for her cancer support group, she stitched the 2 inch version on small soft cotton drawstring bags and digitising her own monogram inside. try cream linen for this one, soft sage cotton, or for cotton blush the cleanest charcoal and mustard contrast across the tall script.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Sleeve cuff script accent embroideryCancer support group gift run, customer stitched the 2 inch on small soft cotton drawstring bags and added her own monogram inside.
  • Phone pouch front panel quote designTall narrow script suits a tee sleeve cuff, the four lines run with the seam direction so the cursive doesnt fight the placement.
  • Small drawstring bag minimal scriptSoft sage cotton and muted blush cotton plays nicest with the charcoal grey, cream linen also carries the confident quiet feel.
  • Book sleeve cover narrow vertical motifStitches at 498 spi which is comfortable for cotton and linen, fusible cutaway needed under jersey or knit because of the long flourishes.
  • Cosmetic zip pouch front panel scriptLightning bolt accent in mustard yellow tucks beside storm at the bottom, single accent that lifts the whole charcoal stack.
  • Tote bag chest narrow script accentSharp 75/11 needle keeps the satin script crisp, the longer flourishes on stronger and storm need that needle weight.
  • Wall hoop art tall narrow inspirationalDaily mirror viewing on a cosmetic zip pouch front, smallest 1.12 inch fits centered above the zipper without crowding.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
