The heart holds the full American flag pattern inside it and its the lil detail placement that makes it work. Red and white horizontal stripes run across the lower three quarters using tight satin columns, and the blue canton with stars fills that upper left curve where a heart has its natural rounded indent. Looks sharp and reads instantly as patriotic without being overdone.
Four colours: red, white, navy blue, and a soft outline thread. The stripes use directional stitching so they have that raised ribbon look rather than a flat printed feel. Youve got 5 sizes here, smallest is 3.51 inches wide and the largest runs to 7.51 inches, so its easy to center on a shirt chest or scale down for a cap front panel.
Ping me if any of the 5 files have problems loading and Ill get you sorted before the fourth. I made this one last summer after a customer asked for something that looked like a real flag motif but had more of a keepsake feel than a novelty print. The 54,181 stitch count on the large size is dense so hoop it well and use a firm cutaway stabiliser underneath.
Best results on white, cream, light grey, or navy cotton. The red and blue pop most on white or cream backgrounds. Pair it with a name or star rating below in a simple script for a really nice personalised gift piece.
Pop it on a tote, denim jacket back panel, or a front pocket shirt for memorial day and veterans day aswell. Skip sheer or lightweight materials since that 54k stitch density can pull thin weaves. Ping me if theres any issue with the file and Ill sort it before your deadline.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- 4th of July tshirt chest pieceCentered on a white cotton tee the large version makes a clean patriotic piece that doesnt look like a novelty shirt.
- Memorial Day tote bagsA medium size on a white canvas tote handles 4th of July events and doesnt look cheaply done.
- Patriotic cap front panelThe 3.51 inch size fits a structured cap front panel well without distorting the brim area during hooping.
- Veterans Day jacket patchOn the back panel of a denim jacket it becomes a bold veterans day tribute piece people actually comment on.
- Personalised flag keepsake giftsAdd a name or year below the heart on a gift item to make it feel personalised rather than generic.
- American themed home pillowCentered on a cream or white throw pillow it makes a tasteful patriotic home accent for the holiday season.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
