The text here is big and bold and stacked in a way I dont see alot on embroidery designs. 'Be mine' sits in heavy capitals across 2 lines, and theres a black shadow layer sitting just behind the red fill that gives it that printed-poster depth. Then right below, the word 'Valentine' drops in flowing red script to finish it off. Small heart icon floats above the i in mine. Very clean layout, nothing cluttered.

2 colours total, black and red, which keeps the thread swaps to just 1. Smallest size runs about 7,877 stitches at 2.29 inches wide, largest goes up to 16,467 stitches at nearly 5 inches wide. Satin fill on those capital letters gives them that raised smooth finish, the script underneath uses a thinner satin column so it stays legible even at the small size.

I get alot of messages asking for valentines day designs that dont look too juvenile, and honestly this one hits that spot. One customer made it on a charcoal grey hoodie last February and sent the photo, it looked exactly like something youd buy at a boutique. The contrast between that dark shadow and the bright red fill really pops on dark fabric.

And it works on lighter fabric too, white cotton tees, cream canvas bags, pale pink linen. Stitch it on a good cutaway stabiliser since the density is fairly high at 447. Pop it centred on a shirt chest or offset to the left for that relaxed print placement. Skip anything too busy or patterned since the layered text gets lost.

Hit me up if you run into any loading issues with the file and Ill get it sorted fast.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentines day shirts for adultsCentred on a charcoal or white tee it reads like a boutique print, clean and direct without the usual heart overload.
  • Couples matching hoodiesMatching hoodies for couples work great with the design on the left chest, subtle but obvious enough to get the point across.
  • Canvas tote bag valentines giftacross a canvas tote panel the black shadow layer really pops, easy valentines day gift that looks more expensive than it is.
  • Valentine card-themed cushion coverA medium size centred on a plain cushion cover turns a boring pillow into a statement piece for the bedroom all of February.
  • Classroom teacher gift bagsSmaller sizes work on little gift bags for a teacher valentines haul, keeps the theme without being over the top.
  • Galentines party favour pouchesStitch it on a small muslin drawstring pouch for a galentines party favour, super quick at the 2.29 inch size.
  • Red or black cap embroideryOn a black structured cap the red fill stands out sharply, one of my favourite placements for this design.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
