Summer Vibes Watermelon. Chunky retro typography over a juicy half-slice base, 9 sizes. SUMMER sits across the top in fat blocky letters alternating teal, black and hot pink. Vibes runs across the middle in a black cursive script that ties the type and the fruit together into one shape.

The watermelon itself is a bright juicy red. Theres a deep green outer rind, a mint inner stripe, then that vivid red fill peppered with little black teardrop seeds. The seeds are what make it feel finished, without em it reads as just a red half-circle.

Its 7 colours which sounds like alot but the changes flow clean so theres no awkward stops mid-stitch. Top size is 7.5 inches wide and fits a 5x7 hoop with a tiny bit of room. The smaller 3.5 inch size works well as a repeating piece if youre making a kids matching set, and Im pretty sure the 5 inch size hits the sweet spot for tees.

I drew this one last june for summer merch. One customer ordered six in a row for her daughters watermelon birthday party last week, stitched on white cotton tees, and the images she shared were honestly so sweet. The 4 inch size also lands really nicely on canvas picnic napkins.

Stitch on plain white, cream or pale grey cotton so the bright red pops, and dont put it on patterned cotton, the dense fill needs a calm canvas. Use a cutaway stabiliser even on woven fabric since the watermelon body runs heavy. Run polyester thread on knits, theyll hold up wash after wash. Slow your machine on the dense red if it bogs, the finish is worth the patience. Email picture if first run comes out muddy and ill take a look.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
