Sun sits up top in a clean circle. Below it, three or four rolling wave lines curve across the full width of the design. No fill anywhere, its outline only. Just warm golden yellow for the sun and sky blue for the waves. Simple. Clean. The kind of design that works on almost anything because its not trying to do too much and honestly thats the point.
Two colours means one thread change and a fast stitch. Stitch count is 4k at the smallest size going up to nearly 12k on the largest at 5.25 inches wide, 9 sizes total. Even the biggest version stitches in under 20 minutes on most machines, which is why I've been getting orders for this one from folks doing large batches of summer party favours and camp merch. Last summer a customer emailed me after using a 3-inch build on 60 kids water bottles at summer camp and she said it loaded perfectly on her Brother machine in DST format every single time. Cant ask for better than that.
Use a tear-away stabiliser on woven cotton and canvas. The outline work is low density so you dont need cutaway on most fabrics. Jersey and stretch fabric still need a cutaway or a good fusible topping to stop those curved wave lines distorting mid-hoop. Hoop snug but not stretched tight because the wave curves won't hold clean if you're over-tensioning the fabric.
Email me if the file wont open and I'll resend a replacement straight away.
Pop this on white cotton, pale blue jersey, or a natural canvas tote. Light or pastel fabric is honestly best because both colours are on the lighter side. Skip dark navy or black where the sky blue waves would just disappear. The sun reads great in yellow thread on cream linen too, kinda like a vintage beach print from the 70s that somehow still works.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
