A big sunflower sitting in the centre with butterflies radiating outward from around it, wings open, like theyre all lifting off at once from the same bloom. Its a burst-style composition so the whole design has energy and movement. Single colour, and honestly I think thats the right call here because it forces the shapes to do all the work. The satin petals on the sunflower have directional fills that catch light at slightly different angles from the butterfly wings, so youve got visual contrast even in one thread.

Five hoops, 3.5 inches reaching 7.5 wide, heights 3.29 to 7.04 inches. Stitch counts 11,610 to 27,435. Density at 520 is in a comfortable middle range, fine for most fabric weights. Pop it on a thick backer for knit fabrics. Stitch it on canvas or woven cotton with a tearaway. Best on medium weight fabrics where the petals and wing fills lay flat. Avoid very thin sheers unless youre adding a topping.

One customer ordered the large size last summer for a set of linen table napkins for an outdoor wedding. She stitched them in champagne gold thread and sent photos and they looked incredible. So dont sleep on this one for the home entertaining space, its not just for clothing.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
