So this is the sunflower and daisy floral wreath I drew last summer for a wedding stationery order. Five big mustard sunflowers sit at the cardinal points and the gaps inbetween fill up with little white daisies and trailing green leaves and tiny botanical sprigs. Centre stays open. You drop a name or initial or a date right inside.

Sunflower petals run directional satin so each petal reads on its own instead of looking like one flat blob, with rust orange centres, leaf green stems weaving underneath, and white daisy clusters breaking up the yellow truly nicely. But stitch count climbs fast on the top 7-in size, hitting 44k, so plan your hooping accordingly. Five colour changes total.

I been selling this one to mum-and-baby boutiques for nursery wall hoops and to a couple of Etsy shops doing custom kitchen towels and garden party favours. One customer last week stitched it on linen tea towels in cream and the colours popped against that natural fabric like nothing else.

Stitch on cream linen, oatmeal canvas or a white waffle towel for best contrast. Drop a medium cutaway behind because the dense sunflower heads pull alot. Hoop tight, run the underlay slow, and dont skip the topping if your fabric has any nap. If youre putting this floral piece on terry or fleece add a layer of water-soluble topping on top.

Drop a chat note if any panel reads soft at the edges.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Monogrammed kitchen towelsStitch the wreath on a cream linen tea towel and add the family initial right in the middle.
  • Nursery wall hoopsHoop on white cotton, frame in a wooden hoop and hang above the cot with babys name centred.
  • Wedding ring pillowUse the smaller 4-in build on a satin ring pillow with the wedding date inside the wreath.
  • Linen tote with namePop a customer name in the open centre for personalised linen tote bags at boutique markets.
  • Cream apron front pocketPlace high on the apron pocket so the wreath shows when the apron is folded over the waistband.
  • Cushion cover for guest roomFits nicely on an 18x18 oatmeal cushion, monogram centre, gives the spare room a country touch.
  • Sunday school teacher gift bagStitch teacher initials in the centre on a cream gift bag for end of year thank you presents.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
