Big round sunflower face right in the centre, petals in golden yellow with a warm pale lemon on the outer edges for that sun-catching gradient effect. The seed head is brick red fading into deep burnt orange with a ring of tight satin stitches that really defines it. Two smaller sunflowers flank the main bloom, one sitting up high on the right, one low on the left, both done in the same colour way but scaled down so they dont compete. The whole thing is anchored by deep forest green broad leaves, the kind with a soft midrib crease, and skinny fern sprigs with individual leaves that stick out like little teeth. 9 sizes, stitch count goes from 17,171 up to 42,619 on the full 7.49 by 7.5 inch version.

This one sells well year round. I get orders from garden centres using it on staff totes in summer, then from september into october people switch to it for harvest and autumn market stuff. A customer who runs a flower farm shop had it stitched on black fleece hats for her farmstand team last october and sent me photos. The golden yellow against navy or black fleece is my favourite colourway for this.

Stitch on navy, charcoal, forest green, or black fabric for maximum colour impact. The golden petals and forest green leaves both sing against dark grounds. White or cream works too but you lose some of the contrast on the green leaves. Pop the large 7.5-inch on a tote front or cushion, the medium 5-inch on a sweatshirt chest, the small on a hat or pocket corner.

Dense design at 759 density, use a cutaway stabiliser here, especially for the large sizes. The satin columns on the petals and the directional tatami fill on the leaves both need solid backing or they lift at the edges. Hoop your fabric drum-tight and dont rush. Run a slower speed through the main sunflower where the red and orange satin work sits close together.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
