This is one of the cheerier nurse designs I have and I think thats what makes it work so well. The sunflower is big and bright, petals spreading out around the stethoscope which is woven through the center. It doesnt look medical in a cold way at all, the flower does a lot of work to warm the whole thing up. The yellow petals against the dark stethoscope creates a really satisfying contrast when stitched, especially on white or light fabrics.

No stitch count data is attached for this one, but sunflower petals in embroidery typically run satin stitch on each petal individually which can add up, so expect a moderate run time. The stethoscope tubing stitches as a thin satin column. Use tearaway for woven fabric bases, and make sure your hoop grip is solid because the petal fill needs consistent tension to sit flat. On a scrub top or stretchy knit, switch to a light cutaway stabiliser.

People are running this on tote bags for nurse graduation gifts, on scrub jacket pockets, and on canvas zip pouches. I had a customer tell me she made a whole set of sunflower-themed nurse gifts for her daughter's pinning ceremony and this was the standout piece. Works especially well in classic yellow and brown thread but also looks good if you flip it to a monochrome white or cream for a softer vibe.

Email me a chat note if the file isnt cooperating with your machine software and Ill sort it out fast.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
