Two things happening at once on this one. Top half of the pumpkin is leopard print, like proper orange and black animal-skin spots running across the curve. Bottom half opens up into a full sunflower head, yellow petals fanning out around a brown seedy centre, the whole things tucked inside the pumpkin shape like its grown straight out of the gourd. Black outline holds it together with a chunky curled stem and one lil spiralling tendril off to the right.

And the satin coverage is heavy here. Yellow petal layer alone runs anywhere from 4,487 stitches on the small 3.03-inch version up to 16,266 on the largest 6.49-inch. The black outline does the heavy lifting at 11,164 to 24,916 stitches per size, so youre gonna plan on at least one bobbin change mid-stitchout if youre on a small home machine. Digitised with directional satin on the petals so each one reads as a separate blade, and the leopard spots sit on a fill underlay thats keeping the orange from bleeding through.

One customer ordered the medium size for a fall market tea towel run two octobers back and said she did 18 of em on cream cotton in a weekend. She backed each towel with medium cutaway and it stopped the leopard fill from puckering. Smart move on her end.

Skip pale fabrics under 200gsm without backing or the density will pull. Use a no-show mesh cutaway on tees, medium tearaway on stiffer canvas or twill. Pair the 4.51-inch with a left chest placement on a flannel for a soft autumnal pullover, or run the 6.49-inch dead-centre on a canvas tote for the chunky farmers-market look. Best on cream, oatmeal, rust, deep olive, or warm denim. Avoid synthetic satin or stretchy knits without topping, the long jumps between sunflower petal sections will misregister otherwise.

Holler if a colour stop reads wrong in your software, sometimes the leopard-spot black gets read as a separate trim block and the machine pauses where it shouldnt.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
