Worked up a sunset beach palm tree, retro travel poster energy. Theres a leaning black palm silhouette anchoring the right side, fronds spreading wide. Behind it the sky swirls in deep red and orange ribbon waves, like youve walked into a 70s album cover. A golden sun sits low on the horizon, half dipped already, and the ocean below shows as horizontal black stripes with a gold sun reflection cutting straight down the middle.

Palm tree silhouette is digitised as a solid black satin fill with a tearaway-friendly outline. Sky uses three swirling ribbon shapes, alternating red, deeper red and a thin orange band, all flowing left to right. Sun is a golden satin disc with a clean horizon line cutting it in half. Water below uses graduated horizontal stripe density, denser at the top thinning out below, gives that proper shimmer look. A small rocky island silhouette sits to the left of the sun for depth.

Im pretty proud of this one and drew it for surf shops, beach-bar merch and summer travel apparel. A customer who ordered the biggest size last july for her husbands sailboat said the sunset reads from across the marina parking lot. Another ordered for her teenage daughter who runs a beach yoga page on instagram. Tiniest hoop fit is 2.66 by 3.48 inches, max version comes in at 5.7 by 7.49.

Pick a smooth cotton canvas, light denim or beach towel terry for best results. Cream, sandy beige, oatmeal or soft sage backgrounds let the red sunset swirls pop without fighting the black palm. Skip black and dark navy bases as the silhouette will dissapear straight into a dark ground. Avoid heavy minky or thick fleece, the fine water stripes wont read against pile.

Density runs heavy at 1099 stitches per inch sq with around 47k stitches at the largest hoop. Use a no-show mesh stabiliser, hoop firm, slow your machine speed on the palm silhouette and the water stripes. Run a thin water-soluble film over the hoop if youre going onto towel terry. Dm the help line if the palm fronds look off and ill realign the file. Pretty quick turnaround.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
