Canvas tote bags are where I first started selling this one, and its still the best home for it. The large cursive "Super" in thick charcoal satin stitching fills the upper half, with a loose hand-drawn heart built right into the tail of the letter r, no extra element, just the script curling upward into that heart shape. Below it, "Mom, Wife, Tired" sits in spaced olive-green capitals using a lighter tatami fill so theres a real contrast between the two weights. Two colours total, clean underlay, no jump stitch chaos. I digitised this with pro digitising tools so the satin columns on the big letters are properly directional and wont pucker on cotton canvas.

I get a lot of mothers day orders for this one, and alot of them arent for the mum herself. Daughters ordering it for their own mum, husbands surprising their wives with a custom hoodie, craft-fair sellers who need something funny and relatable. Last week a repeat buyer told me she puts these on cream linen pouches and sells them at markets every mothers day weekend. The 4.5 inch sits neat on a shirt pocket without looking cramped, and at 4191 stitches the smallest size runs fast even on a domestic machine.

Hoop your item with cutaway stabiliser if youre working on jersey or fleece, it keeps those long satin strokes from pulling. For canvas or twill a tearaway is usually enough. Stitch the charcoal layer first, let the machine finish, then that olive-green text falls in exactly where it should below. Skip the topping on the capitals unless youre working on terry cloth because the tatami fill handles most fabrics without it. The density here is 262, which I find sits well on both lighter cotton and heavier denim without bleeding into the weave.

Use the mid-range size on aprons and the largest on heavyweight cotton bags. Keep the bobbin thread in a plain contrast colour and the olive green really pops against dark fabrics like navy or charcoal base cloth. Pop it centred on a denim jacket chest panel and the two-colour contrast reads sharp even from across a room, no extra framing needed.

Holler at me if the tie-offs come loose.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Canvas tote bagThe 7.5 inch drops onto a canvas tote front panel and fills it without crowding the seam.
  • Mothers Day apron giftA buyer put this on her market apron in charcoal thread and said it sold out faster than anything else she made.
  • Crew-neck sweatshirtHooped on a medium-weight cotton fleece sweatshirt, the satin columns stay smooth if you use a cutaway stabiliser.
  • Linen pouch or zip bagThe 3.5 inch fits a linen zip pouch gusset without going over the zip teeth area.
  • Kitchen tea towelOn a white cotton tea towel the olive green pops nicely, keep it centred above the hem.
  • Baby bodysuit or bib pocketThe 4 inch drops onto a bib or bodysuit chest pocket without crowding the snap line.
  • Denim jacket back panelIron a stabiliser patch to the denim first, then hoop tight so the long satin strokes dont warp the weave.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
