Pulled this together after alot of requests for a ghost that actually looks shocked at something. Its that round little guy with the wide black eyes and the pink open mouth, mid-gasp, arms barely up, the whole thing. Heres the thing about this one: the expression is what makes it work on fabric. That hot pink interior on the mouth pops against the white satin body in a way thats hard not to love.
Punched in my usual software with a satin underlay on the ghost body so it lays flat without puckering. 4 sizes from 2 to 5 inches, and the stitch count climbs from 2,741 up to 9,885 so you want a cutaway stabiliser on anything stretchy. I get messages every october asking which ghost works best on kids halloween shirts and this one always comes up first. And honestly I think its the face, theres something about that mid-scream expression on a chubby lil ghost that just clicks with people.
Pop a midweight cutaway behind knits and fleece. Match your bobbin to your base fabric colour or go white. Stitch the 3-inch hoop for shirt pockets and treat bags, its the most-grabbed size for kids apparel. Pop the 2-inch on a patch blank and iron it to a backpack. Skip dark fabrics unless you top it with a water-soluble topping so the white fill reads cleanly against the base. Holler if anything comes up with your download and Ill get it sorted.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
